Do I need to book in advance?

Yes! Bookings are essential.
As a one woman space, appointments can fill quickly, so I recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time.


Why is there often a wait for appointments?

Drift is a solo operated space, meaning every treatment is performed by me, start to finish. Alongside the head spa, I also run a busy hair salon, this naturally limits availability, but ensures every client receives a truly personal, un rushed experience.


What is a Japanese Head Spa?

A Japanese Head Spa is a deeply relaxing treatment focused on scalp health, hair care, and overall wellbeing. It combines cleansing, massage, and intentional techniques to support both your hair and your nervous system.


Who is the head spa suitable for?

Head spa treatments are suitable for both women and men, including elderly clients.
Our beds lay completely flat, so as long as you feel comfortable, you’re welcome.

If you’re unsure which service is right for you, feel free to reach out before booking.


If I have hair extensions can I get a headspa?

No! Save your appointment for in-between move ups. A deep scalp cleanse isn’t achievable with extensions.


Can I book using a gift voucher?

Yes, gift vouchers can be used when booking your appointment.
Please note: bookings are not available on Saturdays or Weekends.


Do you offer evening appointments?

Evening appointments are available by special consideration.
If you require an after-hours booking, please reach out prior to booking to discuss availability.


Can I bring my baby/kids?

While Drift is a family friendly space, these treatments are intentionally calm, quiet, and uninterrupted.

To truly relax and get the most out of your experience, I recommend coming to your appointment on your own where possible.


Why doesn’t Drift open weekends?

Drift is a home based salon, and weekends is marked out as family time. Occasionally this can be bypassed and a weekend may become available, this is usually advertised via our socials.


Can I have a headspa pregnant?

All of our products are pregnancy safe however the headspa bed is completely flat and is not recommended in the later stages as it wouldn’t be comfortable. Save the pampering for after bubs arrival.


Will this strip my hair colour or keratin/nanoplasty?

It is recommended to book a headspa at least a week prior to a chemical service. All products are colour safe and selected bespoke to your personal needs. However please keep in mind that this is a deep cleansing service and some colour/toner fade may occur.


How do I find your salon?

Can I book more than one treatment at a time?

NO! Drift salon is a one woman show, we can do one after another if timing allows, but our small space cannot accomodate big groups
